Job Description
CNC Machinist responsible for advanced CNC machine operation, setup, programming, troubleshooting, and program editing. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Solid understanding of machining practices Advanced understanding of CNC programming language Experience operating CNC machines Experience performing advanced CNC machine setup Experience adjusting tooling and work offsets Experience troubleshooting CNC programs Experience editing existing CNC programs Ability to use QMS, MAX, and SPC databases as needed Preferred Skills Advanced manufacturing training Machining training or certification 3+ years of manufacturing or machining experience Experience developing basic CNC programs Experience selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures Experience working with quality management and statistical process control systems Job Responsibilities Operate CNC machines in an advanced manufacturing environment Execute advanced CNC machine setup and programming Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations Adjust tooling and work offsets to meet production requirements Troubleshoot existing CNC programs Perform significant edits to current CNC programs Develop basic CNC programs as needed Use QMS, MAX, and SPC databases to support production and quality requirements Apply machining practices to maintain accurate and consistent part production
