CNC Operator

Job Title:

CNC Operator Job Description As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating a CNC router to cut foam inserts for various casings. You will receive drawings from engineering (Solidworks) and enter the program in Enroute. The machine will run and cut through the foam, and you will need to change out the tooling as needed. You will also be involved in making, installing, cutting, gluing, and blowing the foam off with a heat gun, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities Operate a CNC router for cutting foam inserts. Receive and interpret drawings from engineering. Enter programs in Enroute and manage machine operations. Change tooling as required during the cutting process. Perform tasks including cutting, gluing, and blowing foam with a heat gun. Utilize measuring tools and ensure precision with a tape measure. Operate a band saw for trimming foam inserts. Adapt to varying job setups and run times daily. Essential Skills Experience with CNC laser operations. Proficiency in blueprint reading and fabrication. Machine operating experience. Use of measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read a tape measure and operate a band saw. Experience with sheet metal and assembly is a plus. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Allendale, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
