Plenty of overtime opportunities available Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and experienced CNC Colex Operator to join our large-format printing and production team in Carlstadt, NJ . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a Colex CNC digital cutting and finishing system and working with large-format printed graphics. This position is responsible for accurately cutting, routing, trimming, creasing, and finishing a variety of printed materials and rigid substrates. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Operate a Colex CNC digital cutting and finishing system . Set up and run CNC jobs according to production specifications. Load, position, and secure materials on the CNC table. Cut, route, trim, crease, and finish large-format printed materials. Read and follow production files, cut paths, dimensions, and job specifications. Work with materials including PVC, foam board, corrugated plastic, ACM, styrene, acrylic, and other substrates. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality. Troubleshoot basic machine and tooling issues. Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the CNC equipment. Work closely with the printing and finishing teams to keep production on schedule. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Safely handle large and oversized printed materials. Meet production deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy. Qualifications Previous experience operating a Colex CNC / digital finishing table is strongly preferred. Experience in large-format printing, signage, graphics, or display production is a plus. CNC routing or digital cutting experience preferred. Ability to read measurements and production specifications. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to safely lift and maneuver large-format materials. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Colex Sharpcut CNC routing Digital cutting and finishing Large-format printing Sign and graphics production Retail displays and POP/POS graphics CAD/CAM or CNC production software Adobe Illustrator or similar production software Vinyl cutting and finishing
