Job Title:
CNC Operator Job Description The CNC Operator oversees the daily operation of CNC machinery, ensuring accurate production of parts, adherence to tight tolerances, and consistent equipment performance. This role involves running tests before production, programming and monitoring CNC machines during operation, and inspecting machinery and finished products to maintain high quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Operate CNC Haas lathes and milling machines, including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis equipment. Run tests and verify machine readiness before the start of operations to ensure accurate and efficient production. Program CNC machines and translate work instructions and blueprints into computer commands so the machines perform the correct functions. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements. Set up machines as needed and assist with at least one setup per week, including preparing fixtures, tools, and programs. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines, ensuring correct positioning and secure clamping. Machine a variety of materials, including aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel, and PEEK, while maintaining specified quality standards. Hold tight tolerances of +

Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with applicable quality standards and regulations. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues, improve processes, and meet production goals. Document work as required, including production records, inspection results, and maintenance activities. Essential Skills Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment or a closely related field. 1-5 years of experience operating Haas CNC machines or similar CNC equipment. Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and tooling, including lathes and mills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions accurately.
