Job Summary Pay:

$18.00-$22.00 per hour 1 st

Shift:

Monday - Friday; 7am to 3:30pm

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

Start machines and monitor displays to detect malfunctions. Set up machines per documented setup sheet. Loads and unloads products. Determines and documents machine set ups for each part as needed. Stop machine to change cutting tools, setup according to required machining sequence or to measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications. Complete edits and adjustments as required to ensure parts meet specifications. The ability to operate more than one machine. Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches. Accurately complete paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc. Inspects work for all dimensional features as required and produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with company requirements. Train, guide, and assist other employees as needed. Must work in a safe manner and report any safety, machine, or equipment issues. Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma/GED 2+ years of industry experience Experience in milling machines preferred Knowledge of feeds and speeds and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their application.
