Schivo Medical manufactures a diverse range of essential medical technology solutions. Collaborating with us, you will be manufacturing or supporting the manufacture of a vast array of different products including robotic surgery instruments, neurosurgical tools, and cardiovascular closure devices that treat chronic disease in new ways so people can live better and longer. Position Summary:
Learn to complete manual machine tasks and run CNC machines. CNC Operator apprenticeship
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Loading and unloading of materials into various machines. General good housekeeping practices within work area. Review work center for maintenance compliance. Maintain correct time reporting and accurate entries on applicable manufacturing documentation. Comply with company quality and safety requirements CNC Operator apprenticeship Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications): High School Diploma, GED or higher education Trade school certification a plus Machine shop experience using various equipment. Blueprint reading Experience using measuring tools. Must be mechanically inclined. Ability to pay attention to a single task for long periods of time. Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions (English) Manual machining experience a plus "Maintain a positive and respective attitude, cooperates with co-workers, management, internal and external customers, as applicable (Core values)."
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced deadline orientated environment. Must be able to work in a team environment. Employee is advised to always wear safety glasses and non slip shoes while out on production floor(suggested).
