Rochester £34,295 Per Annum Permanent Apply Apply Do you have a passion for engineering? Have you worked with CNC machines in a workshop environment? My client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking a CNC Machine Shop Operative to join their manufacturing team. As a CNC Machine Shop Operative , you will work with a team producing precision-engineered components to exact specifications and strict quality standards using CNC turning, CNC Milling, manual turning, manual milling and drilling processes. As a CNC Machine Shop Operative , you will: Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of components and products Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Use precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerances Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards Follow health and safety procedures at all times The successful CNC Machine Shop Operative will have: Experience of using CNC machines in a manufacturing environment Ability to use precision measuring instruments Excellent attention to detail Good communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Willingness to learn and take on new challenges Shift pattern Mon-Thurs 6am-4.30pm and Fri 6am-2.30pm, (48 hours) Due to the early start time, you will need a driving licence and access to your own vehicle to get to site.
