Back CNC Lathe Operator / 62908 Advanced Manufacturing Syracuse , New York Direct Hire $27.00 - $33.00 $27-$33/hour DOE | 2nd Shift Sapphire Recruitment is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for a precision manufacturing opportunity. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable independently operating CNC lathes, making routine adjustments, and checking finished parts for accuracy. What You'll Do Operate CNC lathes to produce precision metal components. Load materials, monitor machining operations, and watch for tool wear or performance issues. Adjust tool offsets as needed to maintain part specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools. Maintain proper fluid and oil levels and complete basic machine upkeep. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. What We're Looking For Previous CNC lathe operating experience. Strong blueprint-reading skills. Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers. Ability to make basic machine and offset adjustments. High school diploma or GED. Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.

Schedule:

Flexible second-shift options may include approximately 3:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m. weekdays, four 10-hour shifts, weekend hours, or a combination of weekday evenings and weekends. Scheduling flexibility is available for the right candidate.

Pay:
