Interpret and execute intricate instructions provided in written, verbal, or visual formats. Verify that all necessary tooling and setup documentation is correctly applied. Optimize machine settings, including coolant flow, lubrication, and tooling parameters, to ensure peak performance. Manage machinery operations to help the team consistently meet high-quality production benchmarks. Develop and archive production programs and setup documentation to streamline future operations. Secure initial piece inspections for any production runs exceeding three units. Validate that setups meet specifications by performing precise dimensional checks at the workstation. Improve operational efficiency by reducing changeover times and minimizing equipment idle time. Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues, escalating significant malfunctions to management. Uphold a tidy workspace and contribute to the success of 6S organizational initiatives. Provide guidance and training to support the development of new team members. Promote a secure workplace by strictly adhering to safety protocols, ISO 9001 QOPs, and API 671 standards. Complete other tasks as directed by leadership. Required Qualifications Proven background in operating both manual and CNC machining equipment. Comprehensive grasp of manufacturing workflows, such as milling, turning, grinding, gear cutting, and heat treating. Demonstrated capacity to resolve setup challenges to keep production running smoothly. Familiarity with the complexities of multi-axis machining environments. High level of precision and commitment to maintaining rigorous quality standards. Physical capability to remain standing or walking throughout the duration of a shift. Physical ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 35 pounds. Collaborative approach to work supported by effective communication abilities.
