We are seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator to run automated cutting equipment used to produce precision-built components for modular housing systems. This is a hands-on manufacturing role working in a high-volume production environment with large-format sheet materials and tight dimensional tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fabrication and automated cutting equipment Load and unload sheet materials and components onto CNC systems and vacuum tables Run CNC programs and monitor machine operation during production Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, cut files, and work orders Ensure accurate cuts, consistent quality, and adherence to production specifications Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with routine machine maintenance Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output goals
Qualifications & Skills:
3+ years of experience operating CNC machinery or automated fabrication equipment Experience in manufacturing environments such as woodworking, millwork, cabinetry, sign production, composites, plastics, or sheet goods fabrication Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Strong focus on safety and manufacturing best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
CNC routing, panel processing, or similar automated cutting systems Background in production manufacturing or high-volume fabrication environments Experience working with sheet materials or large-format panel systems Additional CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, water jets) is a plus.
