Shifts Available:

1st, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday (OT as needed) 2nd, 3:30pm-12:00am, Monday-Friday (OT as needed)

Rate:

$20.00-$24.00 (Based on experience)

Essential Functions:

Set-up and operate EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines, load / unload parts, and communicate changes and results (in writing and verbally) while adhering to a strict time schedule Inspect and verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary (micrometers, calipers, gauges (pin, thread, indicator, height), optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) Good mechanical aptitude and some "shop math" is required. Ability to add and subtract decimals Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Documents actions by completing production and quality logs Exceptional time management and or organization skills Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time Always take ownership and be accountable for your actions Good and reliable attendance and a collaborative attitude are a must

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Previous machining experience preferred but not required Have basic mechanical aptitude Previous machine operating preferred Manufacturing experience preferred Reliable attendance within acceptable standards of attendance policy Complex problem solving with critical math skills Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English Must be able to clearly communicate information to others verbally and in writing in English Lift, push and/or pull up to thirty-five (35lbs.) pounds regularly Operate overhead crane or other lifting equipment when necessary Stand at least 95% of scheduled shift on raised platform
