Overview We are seeking an Entry Level CNC team member to support safe, accurate production in a manufacturing environment. You will operate and assist with computer numerical control (CNC) equipment, follow production documents, and help ensure parts meet quality requirements. This role is suited to candidates who are ready to build practical machining skills and contribute to a collaborative production team. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes; assist with setup and basic CNC programming or computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) tasks as assigned. Read blueprints and technical drawings, interpret production documents, and use shop math to verify dimensions. Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments; support quality control and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) checks. Follow production safety standards while handling materials, using hand tools, and supporting fabrication, assembly, packaging, or materials movement.
Your impact:
Careful machine operation and dimensional checks help production teams deliver accurate parts and reduce avoidable rework. Experience Basic math, mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to learn machining and manufacturing processes are essential. Factory, manufacturing facility, machine operation, machining, assembly line, or materials handling experience is helpful but not required. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), computer-aided design (CAD), or SolidWorks is preferred. Experience with a press brake machine, stamping press, flexo press, forklift, or industrial equipment troubleshooting is an advantage. Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings and apply precision measurement practices is valued. #
