CNC Operator

We're looking for a CNC Operator to join our team! Hours are Monday through Thursday, 6a to 4:30p, with OT as needed.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other tools to ensure accurate measurements. Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure proper functioning. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Experience:

Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their use in quality control. Knowledge of tooling selection and optimization for different machining operations and methods. Must be knowledgeable of CNC turning center. Strong math skills, including the ability to perform calculations for machining parameters. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.

Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
