CNC Lathe Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating a CNC lathe to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Set up and operate CNC lathes according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints. Perform quality checks as parts are machined to ensure adherence to specifications. Collaborate with team members to implement Lean manufacturing practices for efficiency improvements. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the machining process. Meet set up and cycle times per requirements. Skills Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity. Ability to adjust speeds, feeds, and depth of cuts on a a CNC lathe. Competent in using various hand tools and power tools safely. Strong attention to detail and accurately measuring and documenting parts.
