Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a CNC Machinist/Operator, you will perform all of the functions required to set-up and operate the Company's lathes, mills, and other equipment as assigned, plus the following items: Perform complete CNC set-ups and programing, inputting the design specifications, and editing, as required, to ensure the machines perform as required; Operate CNC machines to produce precision oilfield parts; Adjust machine settings to optimize production while maintaining quality; Interpret technical blueprints and designs to understand the specifications and requirements of a part; Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, ensuring smooth and efficient operation; Measure and inspect completed parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision tools such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers; Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machine; Make own offset adjustments; Troubleshoot tooling, quality, and machining issues independently; Keep a detailed record of processes, tool usage, and production output; Collaborate with engineers or designers for custom jobs or to refine manufacturing processes; Run multiple machines and jobs simultaneously to maximize production; Strict adherence to workplace safety and personal protective equipment requirements; Safely operate a forklift after obtaining a forklift driver certification; and All other duties as assigned or directed by the Company or driven by customer or production demands.
Required Experience:
At least 1 year CNC setup experience At least 5 years machining experience Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Haas, Mazak, Okuma machinery and Fanuc Controls 3 Years of CNC experience Oil & gas machining experience Alloy steel & stainless machining experience Forklift and/or overhead crane experience

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
