Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM
  • 3:00 AM, initial training on day shift A structural steel company in Tigard is seeking an experienced CNC Burn Table Operator to join their team.
This role is responsible for operating CNC-controlled oxy-fuel equipment to layout, cut, and inspect thick steel plate while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Applicants must have experience with CNC oxy fuel cutting equipment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC burn table using oxy-fuel cutting processes Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and cut files Perform layout work and verify material prior to cutting Monitor CNC cutting operations and adjust settings as needed Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy, tolerances, and quality standards are met Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and calipers Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and organized Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of CNC oxy-fuel cutting experience Strong blueprint reading and layout skills Experience working with thick structural steel Basic understanding of CNC operations and machine controls Ability to perform basic math and measurements Strong attention to detail and quality
Requirements:
Ability to pass a drug screen Ability to pass a background check Ability to pass a physical

Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM
