$26-$32+/hr.
DOE SWING SHIFT
Full-Time, 2nd Shift - Monday to Thursday 2:15pm to 12:45am

We are partnering with a well-established, ISO-certified manufacturing company that specializes in precision machining and high-quality production work. They are looking to add an experienced CNC Lathe II/llI Machinist to their growing team. This is a great opportunity to join a skilled, tight-knit shop that values craftsmanship, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
Set up and operate CNC lathes to machine flat and formed parts to precise specifications Read and interpret engineered drawings and machine codes Set tooling, fixtures, programs, and tool offsets Troubleshoot machining, programming, and material issues Act as a technical resource for tooling and machining processes Work with engineering on part design improvements and corrective actions Reduce scrap, labor time, and material waste Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks Maintain job tracking, labor reporting, and redline documentation Ensure cleanliness and compliance with ISO and safety standards Take ownership of larger machining projects as needed What's In It for

Have:
5+ years machining experience in a manufacturing environment Strong CNC lathe setup and operation experience Ability to read blueprints (fractional & decimal) Strong math skills including trigonometry Experience with precision measuring tools (to thousandths) Ability to read machine codes and set offsets/tooling Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
The Musts:
Proven CNC lathe setup and machining experience Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong blueprint reading and measurement accuracy Ability to stand full shift and lift up to 35 lbs Commitment to safety and ISO standards
Preferred:
AA Degree in Machine Technology Experience acting as a lead or senior machinist Experience supporting engineering with design feedback or redlines Prior ISO manufacturing environment experience
