Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Router Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) routers and related machinery to produce precision components and fabricated parts. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure high-quality output while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative fabrication projects in a fast-paced factory environment. Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate CNC routers CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, specifications to ensure accurate machining. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality of machined parts. Maintain proper tooling, fixtures, and tooling setups for various machining tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machinery, troubleshoot issues promptly, and document machine performance logs. Handle materials safely within the manufacturing facility, including materials handling equipment like forklifts when necessary. Collaborate with team members on assembly line processes, fabrication projects, and quality control measures to meet production goals. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC routers in a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc preferred), CAD software like SolidWorks or similar, and CAM programming techniques. Ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings with precision measurement skills. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tooling, press brake machines, stamping presses, welding, and fabrication techniques. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), stamping presses, flexo presses, or other manufacturing automation systems is a plus. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and material dimensions. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklift equipment is desirable.
