Now Hiring CNC Machine Operator (Direct Hire)
Columbia, PA Pay Rate:
$36.93 - $38.93 per hour ($36.93/hr. + $2 shift differential for 2nd shift and weekend)

1st Shift + 2nd Shift + Weekend Shift Blueprints. Microns. Big Wins. For CNC Machine Operator jobs in Columbia, this is where precision meets pride. CNC Machine Operator Skills & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of experience in CNC metal machining 3+ years of machine setup experience Strong knowledge of G & M codes and CNC programming Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience machining steel or other metals Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Basic math skills and ability to follow written procedures How You'll Spend Your Day Set up and operate CNC machines using blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Configure machines by entering programs, setting tool offsets, zero points, and registers Perform tool changes and monitor tool wear to maintain part quality Inspect first-article and in-process parts to ensure dimensional accuracy Troubleshoot machining issues and edit CNC programs (G & M codes) as needed Maintain product quality through measurements and quality control procedures Meet production goals for cycle time, output, and quality Perform basic machine maintenance, including coolant and oil checks Collaborate with team members to improve process efficiency and machining performance Mentor junior machinists and support team development
