This is a hands-on role that sets up, edits programs, operates, and maintains both large and small scale mills and/or lathes. The candidate can be specialized in either mill, lathe, or both. Essential Job Functions include:

• CNC setup and operation
• Able to read and interpret customer drawings
• Able to manage work flow and product quality
• G-Code understanding

Additional Responsibilities:

• Punctuality and reliability on the job
• Some limited PM on the equipment and local work space
• Willing to back-up and support other machining operations
• Proficient in micrometer and caliper gauge usage.
• Able to maintain a clean and safe work station Education and Experience
• Prior metal working and machining experience. Pay scale is based upon experience and proficiency level
• Understands geometric dimensioning, tolerancing, and finishing
• Able to prepare a workstation for a particular; tools, fixtures, set-up
• Can work and be productive with limited supervision and direction Personal Characteristics
• Strong analytical problem solving, numerical and reasoning abilities;
• Participative style applies teamwork and collaboration.
• Effective interpersonal skills; ability to work constructively with people with diverse experiences and/or from a diverse culture.
