Job Description

Job Title:
CNC Mill Operator Job Description Join a dynamic team as a CNC Mill Operator, working on the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. You will have the opportunity to train on the 1st or 2nd shift initially. This role involves operating CNC Milling machines to produce small parts for the medical industry. Responsibilities Operate CNC Milling machines (Haas) to manufacture small parts for the medical industry. Work with 4 and 5 axis machines to ensure precision in production. Load stock into machines, run the machines, check the parts, and make necessary adjustments. Handle metal parts 75% of the time and plastic parts 25% of the time. Make machine adjustments as needed to ensure quality. Complete additional manufacturing tasks as required. Read and interpret blueprints to produce parts. Utilize tools such as micrometers and calipers for measurements. Work with precision, maintaining tolerances to +/- ten thousandths of an inch. Essential Skills Experience with CNC and milling operations. Ability to operate machine tools such as lathe and mills in a machine shop. Proficiency in reading blueprints with at least 1 year of experience. Familiarity with using micrometers and calipers. High school diploma or GED required. Strong attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift 25-50 lbs frequently and exert 50 lbs of force occasionally. Willingness to train and advance from a CNC Operator to Machinist level. Work Environment Work in a machine shop with a mild to moderate noise level, occasionally experiencing loud noises. The facility is clean and well-maintained, reflecting the company's commitment to quality. Follow a dress code for safety, avoiding loose clothing or long hair. Jeans are acceptable. The role is on the 3rd shift, working with one other team member, with initial training on the 1st or 2nd shift. Classroom training will also be provided to learn about the different parts and specifications required for the medical field. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
