Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced factory environment where safety, quality, and productivity are top priorities. If you thrive on hands-on machining and enjoy working with advanced fabrication tools, this role is perfect for you! Duties Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC presses to produce parts according to specifications. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate machining processes. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and troubleshoot programming issues related to Fanuc controls or other systems. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including tool changes, calibration, and inspection of tooling and fixtures. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet quality standards. Handle materials efficiently on the fabrication or assembly line, including materials handling with forklifts when necessary. Maintain a clean, safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols related to machining operations, welding, fabrication tools, and factory procedures. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses within a manufacturing facility. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and CAM software; familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable. Ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately; GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) knowledge is a plus. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, fabrication processes, welding techniques, and tooling management. Experience with precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers; basic math skills for measurement calculations. Familiarity with factory safety standards and materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Basic understanding of CAD software like SolidWorks or similar programs is advantageous. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience emphasizing quality control, assembly line work, or packaging is beneficial. Join us in creating high-quality components through innovative machining techniques! We value energetic professionals committed to precision craftsmanship who want to grow their skills in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in manufacturing.
