CNC Machine Operator

Job Title:

CNC Machinist Job Description The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of CNC machines, including lathes and milling centers, in a well-equipped machine shop. This role involves handling long volume runs of parts, requiring regular adjustments and upkeep of tooling, quality checks, and machine adjustments to maintain tolerance. Responsibilities Set up and operate various CNC machines, including lathes and milling centers. Perform adjustments and upkeep of tooling to ensure precision and quality. Conduct quality checks and machine adjustments to maintain specified tolerances. Possess the ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously for increased compensation. Essential Skills 2+ years of machine operating experience, preferably with CNC mills, or equivalent education/training in CNC machining. Strong mechanical aptitude. Experience using micrometers and calipers to measure parts and meet tight tolerances. Experience in grinding and deburring machined parts. Why Work Here? The facility operates a first shift, Monday to Friday Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
