CNC Machine Operator

Scherer Inc. is a fast-growing company in need of a motivated individual to assist in its expansion. Scherer Inc. produces replacement kernel processor rolls, offers a complete line of mill rolls for both stationary and portable roller mills and provides a full-service manual machining service for both repair and small production runs.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Responsible to run CNC machines making various parts and measure the parts to work-orders/blueprints. In addition to the daily job duties, Scherer places a strong emphasis on our values. We expect all employees to live by them every day.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High school diploma/GED.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Machine parts : Load/unload material into the CNC machine for machining.

Quality Assurance :

Assure accuracy of all parts according to work order/blueprint.

Calculations :

Responsible to calculate dimensions using instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
