Job Description
Metalworking Solutions is looking for a skilled Turret Operator. This position receives production orders and runs the Turret Machine to produce parts. Knowledge of programming modes and maintenance of turret machine is a plus. Knowledge and use of calipers, measuring tape, grinder, and forklift are required. Use forklift to locate and load raw material (steel) for job order from inventory. Load Turret Machine with specific raw material (steel) Setup and schedule Turret to produce parts. Remove steel sheet with produced parts from turret machine. Punch out parts from steel sheet. Grind rough edges of parts when necessary. Stack finished part on pallets to ready for next operation. Move to next area of production. Perform routine maintenance on turret machine from time to time. Changes out scrap steel for each job. Ensure shop cleanliness. Amada experience a plus.
