Job Description
CNC Machinist / CNC Machine Operator In Dunlap Pay $21.00 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating multiple types of machine tools, reading blueprints, programming equipment using G-code, and performing precision measurements. This position requires a strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to meet production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate a variety of production equipment, including CNC mills, lathes, drill presses, routers, and other machining equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to produce parts to specification. Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC machines using G-code. Machine parts according to specifications and verify accuracy using templates and inspection tools. Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Maintain production, inventory, and job-related data within the ERP system. Meet or exceed company production standards, cycle times, and individual productivity goals. Ensure output requirements are achieved while minimizing scrap and rework. Perform routine equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow all safety guidelines and company policies. Work effectively with supervisors, engineers, and team members to resolve production issues and improve processes. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience programming and editing G-code. Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and quality inspection procedures. Experience with ERP systems is preferred. Strong mathematical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills ?
