Memphis Millwork About Us Memphis Millwork specializes in custom millwork and architectural woodwork for commercial and residential projects. We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team and play a key role in producing exceptional millwork components. Position Overview The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision millwork parts according to project specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical ability, and a commitment to quality and safety in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC routers, saws, and other woodworking machinery to produce millwork components. Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to determine specifications and requirements. Load materials, select tooling, and perform machine calibration and adjustments as needed. Monitor production runs, inspect finished pieces, and ensure quality standards are met. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines. Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and shop staff to optimize workflows and resolve production challenges. Maintain accurate production records, including time, materials, and job completion status. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in CNC operation or woodworking preferred. 2+ years of CNC operating experience, preferably in woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and CAD files. Knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and fabrication processes. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills; experience with CNC programming software is a plus. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
