Full-Time | On-Site Position Summary Top Metal Solutions is looking for a CNC Laser Cutting Operator to support our metal fabrication operations. Previous experience with a Bodor laser is not required. Training will be provided. We are looking for someone who understands the basic CNC cutting process, from loading and preparing a cutting file to setting up the material, running the machine, monitoring the cut, and inspecting finished parts. Experience with CNC laser, plasma, waterjet, router, or similar CNC cutting equipment is welcome. Responsibilities Operate a Bodor CNC fiber laser cutting machine. Load and review CNC cutting files such as DXF or similar formats. Perform basic nesting and job setup. Verify material type, thickness, dimensions, and quantities. Load steel, stainless steel, and aluminum plate or sheet. Set and adjust basic cutting parameters. Run and monitor cutting operations. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and cut quality. Identify and troubleshoot basic cutting issues. Read basic blueprints and production instructions. Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance. Maintain a safe and organized work area. Learn and support other CNC equipment as needed. Qualifications Previous CNC or automated cutting machine experience. Basic understanding of CNC cutting processes. Ability to read measurements, drawings, and production instructions. Experience using basic measuring tools. Comfortable using computers and machine control systems. Experience with CNC laser cutting is preferred but not required . Experience with DXF files, nesting software, or metal fabrication is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
