American Thermowell is seeking a CNC Operator to take on the task of sharing our local vision. Skills & Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints Operate and set up CNC Lathe machines to perform repetitive machining operations-low volume Changing offsets and tooling to maintain dimensional tolerances Calculate and verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using knowledge of mathematics and precision instruments such as tape measures, steel scales, and Vernier calipers Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the tool path for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tool parts Perform Daily maintenance on equipment and machinery Keeping your work area clean and any other duties requested by your supervisor Ensure that all CNC machines are adequately lubricated before each processes initiation Fanuc format base Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Qualifications Education or equivalent experience related to the skillset needed for this position Fanuc format base Computer Numerical Control (CNC) experience is an asset Signing Bonus You will receive a signing bonus of $500 after successfully completing your three (3) month probationary period and $500 after one (1) year of continuous employment. You must be on active payroll for the entire timeframe to qualify for the signing bonus.
