Key position functions include:
Be aware of and follow all company safety rules and regulations and report all accidents, however small. Operate CNC Lathe according to program and in conjunction with work order. Maintain productivity, efficiency, production standards and product quality. Is responsible for dimensional inspection of each part manufactured. Perform machine set-ups, tooling set-ups, program modifications and offset adjustments as required. Stamp own machinist I.D. on all pieces, and re-stamp and/or mark heat numbers on pieces when heat numbers have been removed by machining. To identify machining rejects (By separation and/or marking) per OP 211 Rev. 0. Maintain Manufacturing Standards and Operational Procedures during machining process' c/w material handling Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and conscientious manner. Work in conjunction with programming and industrial engineering to maintain, improve and recommend efficient machining methods. Sign off on process traveler, sequence number, operation number, machine number, production counts, etc. per OP 205 Rev. 0. Notify Lead Hand or Department Manager of machine problems and check oil levels daily. Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following: Must have good communication skills and able to read and write in English. Have mathematical ability. Must have good understanding of CNC Programs 2 years minimum previous experience as a CNC Machine Operator We thank all applicants for their interest.
