We are seeking a skilled and safety-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join a precision manufacturing team in Navasota, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) heavy industrial machinery (such as lathes and milling machines) to produce high-quality, heavy-duty components utilized in demanding industrial applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, an uncompromising focus on safety, and the ability to work from blueprints to perform detailed quality inspections on all finished parts.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently set up and operate various CNC machinery, loading heavy parts manually or utilizing material handling equipment like overhead cranes and forklifts.
Monitor machine feeds, speeds, and operation sequences to ensure optimal performance, detecting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions early.
Input offsets and perform simple program edits (G-code / M-code) as needed to maintain exact dimensional alignment.
Conduct in-process and first-article inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions against job orders and drawings. ...
Accurately complete required production reports, dimensional quality logs, and machine maintenance records.
Perform finishing operations including deburring, grinding, and minor surface adjustments on completed components.
Perform routine preventative maintenance functions on equipment, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

AM Skills:
Experience operating or programming Mazak, Okuma, Mori Seiki, or Haas machinery is highly desirable.
Current certification or prior experience operating heavy forklifts and overhead cranes.
Familiarity with robotic automated loaders, palletizers, or automated troubleshooting systems.
High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent technical trade certification in precision machining.
Willingness to learn multiple manufacturing stations and adapt quickly to shifting production priorities.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2???3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machinery (lathes, mills, or turning centers) in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven ability to accurately read and interpret complex industrial blueprints, schematics, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) callouts.
Proficient in the use and calibration of precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and indicators.
Solid basic math skills, including geometry and algebra, for calculating tolerances and tool settings.
Ability to stand and work for extended periods (8???12 hours) in a fast-paced shop environment, and comfortably lift up to 40 pounds.
Clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with supervisors, planners, and quality assurance personnel. today!
