Job Description
CNC Beam Saw Operator Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Beam Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC routers and beam saw equipment, ensuring production quality, maximizing material utilization, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and set up CNC routers and beam saw equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize Cut Rite optimization software and machine controls to maximize material yield and production efficiency. Load materials and verify machine programs prior to machining operations. Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, blueprints, and production documents accurately. Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and dimensional specifications. Perform routine machine inspections, preventative maintenance, cleaning, and tooling changes. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate significant maintenance concerns as needed.
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC routers and/or beam saws in a commercial millwork environment.
- Experience with Cut Rite optimization software preferred.
- Experience with Stiles/Homag equipment strongly preferred.
- Ability to read architectural and shop drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
