• 35 an hour Full-Time | Day Shift | Overtime Available Job Overview Midco Machine is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / CNC Setup Operator to join our precision machining team in Odessa, TX.

We are looking for dependable machinists experienced with CNC equipment and FANUC controls who take pride in producing high-quality work safely and efficiently. This position involves the setup, operation, inspection, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment used in precision manufacturing. Ideal candidates will have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and maintaining consistent part quality in a fast-paced machine shop environment. Most programs are generated through CAM systems. Responsibilities Setup and operate CNC mills and/or lathes with FANUC controls Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions Load raw materials and tooling into machines Edit offsets and make basic program adjustments at the machine Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality standards Deburr and inspect finished parts Maintain clean and safe work areas Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment checks Qualifications Experience operating CNC machining equipment with FANUC controls Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and dependability Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications CNC setup experience Ability to edit programs and offsets at the machine Ability to maintain consistent part quality Oilfield machining experience is a plus Technical school certification or machining-related training is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health insurance Paid time off Stable full-time work with consistent hours Schedule Monday-Friday 10-hour shifts Overtime available Work Location Odessa, TX•
