PART-TIME CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

Part-Time / On-Call We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to provide part-time, on-call support for our machining operations. This position is primarily focused on operating CNC mills and lathes, monitoring production, and making sure machines continue to run properly and efficiently. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both CNC mills and lathes and is comfortable moving between machines and different production needs. This is a good opportunity for an experienced CNC operator looking for flexible or supplemental work. Primary Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes for production work.
• Operate Haas

VF-3 CNC

mills and Doosan Puma 2100 CNC lathes.

• Load and unload parts and monitor machines during production.
• Work with pallet changers and bar feeders.
• Move between different machines and work areas based on production needs.
• Monitor tooling during machine operation and promptly report broken, damaged, or worn tools.
• Perform basic checks on completed parts to identify visible defects or production issues.
• Keep the work area organized and follow established safety procedures.
• Communicate machine, tooling, or production concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Work cooperatively with other employees to keep production running efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
• Previous hands-on experience operating both CNC mills and CNC lathes.
• Experience with pallet changers and bar feeders.
• Ability to independently operate CNC equipment after becoming familiar with the company's processes.
• Basic understanding of tooling and the ability to recognize and report tooling problems.
• Dependable and able to work on an on-call or as-needed schedule.
• Ability to move between different machines and responsibilities as production needs change.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Pay:

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
