Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the use of precision measuring instruments. The CNC Machinist will contribute to the efficient production of high-quality components, supporting our commitment to manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, primarily using Fanuc controls. Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate machining. Select appropriate tooling and fixtures; perform tool changes as needed. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Assist in assembly processes when required, utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication tools. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing machining processes for efficiency and waste reduction. Experience Proven experience in CNC programming and operation with CNC milling machines and CNC lathes. Strong knowledge of GD&T principles, blueprint reading, mechanical drawing interpretation, and precision measurement techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, machining operations, and troubleshooting complex machinery. Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions and tolerances. Experience working with manufacturing environments that utilize lean principles is advantageous.
