In this role, you will be instrumental in producing high-precision components using advanced CNC milling machines. Your expertise in programming, setup, and operation of CNC equipment will drive efficiency and quality in our manufacturing processes. Duties Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring precise machining of parts according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Program CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to optimize machining processes. Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify part dimensions. Maintain machine calibration and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime, ensuring continuous production flow. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with fabrication, assembly, or packaging as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools, tooling, and factory safety procedures to uphold a secure work environment. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, with familiarity in Fanuc controls or similar systems. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAD design, CAM programming, and blueprint reading. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, fixture installation, and machine maintenance. Experience working with various manufacturing equipment such as press brake machines, stamping presses, CNC lathes, and fabrication tools. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret GD&T specifications for precision manufacturing. Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools. Factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling is a plus.
