Job Summary:
While upholding Hoyt's policies and mission and values statements, the CNC Operator is responsible for safe and proficient operation of the CNC machine used in the manufacturing handles and small parts for bows. Upholds p roduction and quality standards : This person is responsible for the safe operation of machines. Ensures efficient material flow through the production area. Performs inspection at designated AQL levels. Maintains proper care of equipment and machinery, as well as cleanliness and organization of the work area. Cleans and organizes designated area within the machine shop to conform to MSP standard. Report scrap and non-conformances. Performs other duties as instructed by supervisor.

Requirements:
Operation, set-up, general maintenance and cleaning of machinery, product quality evaluation: Runs CNC machines at minimum 95% efficiency. Changes tools in less than five minutes. Changes plates in less than fifteen minutes. Performs set-ups at minimum 80% efficiency. Adjusts off-sets. Completes router sheets and SPC (Statistical Process Control) sheets completely and accurately. Responsible for keeping personal tools inventoried and updated. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Ability to pay attention to detail Ability to set up, start up, and re-zero machinery according to specifications Knowledge of tools used in the manufacturing process and ability to replace broken parts in a quick, efficient manner Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred - 6 months CNC machine operator experience
