JOB OVERVIEW

The Welded Wire Mesh Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used to produce welded Wire Mesh products. This role ensures the safe and efficient production of mesh according to specified dimensions and quality standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred).
• Prior experience operating welded wire mesh machinery or in a wire manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Operate a welded wire mesh machine, including setup, monitoring, and adjustment during operation.
• Load wire coils and feed materials into the machine according to job specifications.
• Monitor weld quality and mesh alignment throughout production.
• Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Document production output, machine settings, and any deviations or issues encountered.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area, following all safety regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality assurance teams as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.

Pay:
