CNC Machine Operator

Job Title:

Operator Job Description Candidates will be working in a pre-fabrication shop, using a band saw to cut material down to length for welders. Responsibilities Operate band saw to cut materials to specified lengths. Read and interpret tape measures accurately. Engage in manual labor tasks as required. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading a tape measure. Experience in saw operation and bandsaw usage. Strong mechanical aptitude, math, and measuring skills. Ability to read a ruler to 1/16 of an inch. Understanding of hand and power tools, and diagrams. Additional Skills & Qualifications Capability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly. Possession of basic hand tools and knowledge of their proper use. Ability to read blueprints, wire diagrams, and written instructions. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a fast-paced, repetitive, and construction-related pre-fabrication shop. Employees are required to wear steel toe boots and safety glasses, with a dress code of long pants and a t-shirt. The work schedule is from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ruther Glen, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
