CNC Operator - Build, Cut, and Create in a High‑Energy Shop Environment Step into a role where you're in the center of production . As a CNC Operator, you'll work in a fast‑paced pre‑fabrication shop, cutting materials to precise lengths and supporting welders as they bring large‑scale projects to life. If you enjoy working with your hands, have a sharp eye for accuracy, and want to be part of a team that keeps the job site moving—this position is the perfect fit. What You'll Do Operate a band saw to cut materials to exact specifications, ensuring welders have what they need—when they need it. Read tape measures with precision down to 1/16 of an inch to guarantee accurate, high‑quality cuts every time. Handle hands‑on labor tasks that keep production flowing smoothly. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. Follow safety standards and shop protocols to keep yourself and teammates protected. What You Bring Confidence using a tape measure and reading measurements with precision. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with both hand and power tools. Ability to interpret blueprints, wire diagrams, and written instructions. Strength and endurance to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in a production setting. Extra Skills That Make You Stand Out Basic hand tools and know how to use them correctly. Strong math, measuring, and problem‑solving skills. Work Environment This role puts you right in the action of a busy, construction‑focused pre‑fab shop . You'll be on your feet, working with tools, cutting materials, and supporting welders on a consistent production schedule. Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ruther Glen, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
