Job Description
CNC Lathe Operator - Night Shift (Mazak Nexus) $25.00/hr Starting Wage + $3.00/hr Night Shift Premium LaserForm, LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our machining team on night shift. This position will primarily operate a Mazak Nexus Quick Turn Lathe producing precision components for a variety of industries. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented machinist with at least 2-3 years of CNC lathe experience who can work independently while maintaining high quality standards. Schedule & Pay Full-Time Night Shift Starting at $25.00/hour $3.00/hour Night Shift Premium Overtime opportunities available Responsibilities Set up and operate a Mazak Quick Turn Nexus CNC lathe Load programs and verify machine setup prior to production runs Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges Make tool offsets and minor program adjustments as needed Troubleshoot machining and quality issues Maintain production records and quality documentation Follow all safety and quality procedures Qualifications 2-3 years of CNC lathe experience required Experience operating Mazak lathes preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality requirements Ability to perform machine setups and tool changes Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Reliable attendance and ability to work independently If you are an experienced CNC Lathe Operator looking for a long-term opportunity on a well-equipped machining team, we'd like to hear from you.
