CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring the production of high-quality components. Your expertise in precision measurement and machine maintenance will be crucial to our success.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and boring bars, optimizing for precision and efficiency. Interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances. Select appropriate tooling and fixtures, and adjust machine settings to achieve desired results. Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and prevent errors. Perform precision measurements using various tools to ensure parts meet stringent specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safe working environment. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, with a focus on setup and operation. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and G-code programming. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and fixture design. Preferred Skills Experience with Mastercam or other CAM software for programming and editing. Prior experience in a job shop environment, working with low-volume, high-precision parts. Familiarity with operating overhead cranes and hoists for material handling.
