Hudson, WI Flexible Schedule! Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup & Machine Operator to join a growing precision machining team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on role involving machine setup, operation, quality inspection, and troubleshooting. The selected candidate will initially train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift, where they will work with a high level of independence while supporting daily production goals. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small shop environment with long-term growth potential. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for production machining Load materials, install tooling, and prepare machines for production runs Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers Troubleshoot minor machining and tooling issues Maintain accurate production records and inspection documentation Follow established quality and safety procedures Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes required Ability to perform machine setups with minimal supervision Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently during off-shift operations Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Schedule & Compensation Competitive pay: $25.00
