Job Description
Assembler Job Overview Will perform a variety of jobs fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products. These products can be mechanical, electrical or a combination of both. This individual will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to the Advanced Assembler #1 classification.
Starting Rate:
$20.82 Duties Read and understand blue prints and routings to produce parts from them to the required specifications. Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced. Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality. Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean. Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding. Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety. Skills Possess the skill and ability to assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products. Must be equipped with all the required tools to perform the functions of their job. Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses and power tools. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, sitting and bending, as well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly. Metal Finisher #2Job Overview Starting Rate:
$20.82 Perform a variety of routine metal finishing functions to remove burrs, grind welds, remove weld spatter and generally prepare parts for finish painting. This job also includes loading, operating and unloading the vibro deburring machines. Will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to Metal Finisher #1 classification. Duties Follow all rules regarding machine operation and guarding, when necessary. Keep work area neat and clean Follow all safety rules. Skills Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing and bending, as well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly. Machine Shop Operator #1 Job Overview To operate, set-up and adjust various NC/CNC lathes and/or machining centers to produce parts to the required tolerances with the assistance from a Machinist or Lead person. And will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to the Machinist classification.Starting Rate:
24.76 Duties Must be able to read and understand blueprints and produce parts from the information obtained from the blueprints within required tolerances. Responsible for the quality of the parts they produce and perform first-piece inspection, as well as subsequent inspections, to ensure overall quality. Responsible for taking care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area clean and neat. Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding. Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety. Skills Possess and be able to use micrometers and dial calipers to ensure the quality of the parts being produced. Must be equipped with all required tools to perform the functions of their job. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing and bending, as well as lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.Job Type:
