CNC Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with extensive experience in the setup and operation of CNC machines. The ideal candidate will be adept at selecting, maintaining, and utilizing various cutting tools and fixtures, and will possess strong troubleshooting abilities to quickly identify and resolve machining issues. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines efficiently and effectively. Select and maintain appropriate cutting tools and fixtures. Troubleshoot mechanical and software issues, including understanding error codes and alarm messages. Identify signs of tool wear and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Essential Skills At least 2 years of full-time experience as a CNC operator. Mid-level ability to perform offsets and tool changes. Proficiency in industrial math and ability to read drawings and use gages. Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and software issues. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with surface grinders and manual machines. Ability to follow specific work instructions. Maintain quality and output standards. Work Environment Work in a smaller, climate-controlled shop that is well-lit and occasionally gets a little dirty due to carbon. Safety is a priority, so be cautious of slippery conditions at times. Enjoy working in a supportive and organized environment during the first shift from 6 am to 2 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
