In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and machine operation will be essential to ensure efficient production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment in a fast-paced environment dedicated to manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities Set up CNC lathe machines by installing tools, fixtures, and programming parameters based on technical drawings and production specifications. Operate CNC lathes with precision, ensuring all parts are machined according to blueprint dimensions and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to determine machining requirements. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software for CNC programming and adjustments as needed. Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial gauges to verify dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining safety standards in all operations. Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and quality control data for each batch produced. Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling materials, tools, and machinery including forklift operation when necessary. Assist in materials handling, packaging finished products, and supporting assembly or fabrication tasks when required. Experience Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing or factory environment is essential. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or similar control systems. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for machining process planning and adjustments. Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret complex technical drawings accurately. Solid understanding of shop math, including measurements, conversions, and basic calculations necessary for precision machining. Experience with industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance procedures. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and the ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines. Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling and packaging processes is a plus.
