CNC Equipment Operator Stoughton, WI $24.00-$30.00/hour (based on experience) 2nd Shift Only Temp-to-Hire & Direct Hire Opportunities Available Adecco is hiring a CNC Equipment Operator for a growing custom metal fabrication and manufacturing company in Stoughton, WI . This company specializes in structural and custom fabrication and is looking for long-term team members who want to build a career. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with prior CNC operation, manufacturing, fabrication, machine operation, or metalworking experience , as well as individuals with related technical training looking to grow within a stable production environment. Shift:
Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM Pay $24.00-$30.00/hour Compensation will be based on experience, technical knowledge, and overall fit for the position. Position Summary As a CNC Equipment Operator , you will operate and support computer numerically controlled (CNC) metalworking equipment used in the fabrication process. This role includes reading production documents, loading materials, monitoring machine performance, inspecting parts for quality, and maintaining safe and efficient production operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, mechanical processes, and wants to build a long-term manufacturing career. Responsibilities Operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) metalworking equipment Read and interpret cutting lists, blueprints, prints, and sketches Program and monitor machine operation as required Calibrate equipment and inspect finished parts for quality Perform daily equipment checks and report defects or safety concerns Load and unload materials and support production flow Operate shop equipment and production tools safely Assist with shipping, receiving, and general plant support as needed Use hand tools, grinders, measuring tools, and other production equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety and quality standards Qualifications Previous CNC machine operation, manufacturing, fabrication, production, machining, or metalworking experience preferred OR Recent graduate of a Machine Tool, CNC, Manufacturing, Welding, Industrial Technology, or related Technical College program encouraged to apply Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production documents Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to learn machine programming and quality inspection processes Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and commitment to safety Preferred Qualifications Experience operating CNC fabrication or machining equipment Experience performing machine setup and calibration Experience using measurement and inspection tools Forklift, crane, or industrial equipment experience is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to push, pull, carry, and handle materials as needed Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, and industrial conditions Must wear required PPE including steel toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other assigned protective equipment Why Apply? Pay Details:
