Position Summary The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating, optimizing, and supporting CNC programs for the manufacture of mid
  • to high-complexity aerospace components on 3
  • through 5-axis CNC equipment. This role requires the ability to interpret engineering drawings and solid models to determine machining strategy, tooling, feeds, speeds, and setups to ensure efficient and accurate production. Responsibilities Create and edit CNC programs using Mastercam and/or Surfcam software Program 3
  • 4• and 5-axis CNC machining centers for aerospace components Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and solid models Determine machining methods, tool selection, cutting speeds, and feeds Optimize programs for efficiency, quality, and repeatability Work closely with machinists, quality, and engineering to resolve manufacturing issues Support first-article production and assist with process improvements as needed Ensure programs meet customer, quality, and internal manufacturing requirements Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer Strong proficiency with Mastercam (Surfcam experience a plus) Experience programming 3•through 5-axis CNC machines Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and solid models Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
