Glendale, AZ Job Details Full-time $25 - $40 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Qualifications Customer communication CAD Production planning Manufacturing Full Job Description Reiter's Custom Welding is hiring a CNC Programmer / Estimator to turn customer drawings and RFQs into accurate quotes and production-ready programs. We're looking for someone who understands how sheet metal parts are actually made and can work closely with our sales and production teams. Our capabilities include fiber laser cutting, waterjet cutting, press brake forming, welding, machining, and assembly. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys both the technical side of programming and the commercial side of winning work. What you'll do Review drawings, CAD files, specifications, and RFQs for manufacturability. Develop accurate estimates for material, machine time, labor, outside processes, and other job costs. Create CNC programs and nests for laser cutting and other equipment within your experience. Plan efficient material use and practical production methods. Identify missing information, drawing conflicts, and opportunities to improve part design or cost. Work with customers, sales, purchasing, and production to clarify requirements and meet deadlines. Maintain organized quote and programming records. Help transition awarded jobs from estimating into production. What we're looking for Experience programming CNC equipment in a sheet metal or metal fabrication environment. Experience estimating fabricated parts from engineering drawings. Ability to read prints, dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications. Working knowledge of laser cutting, press brake forming, and fabrication processes. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple RFQs at once. Clear communication and a practical, problem-solving mindset. Experience with waterjet cutting, machining, welding, assemblies, or high-volume production is a plus. Why join Reiter's?
