A CNC Programmer programs computer-controlled equipment used to cut wood, plastic, or metal according to precise measurements, or equipment used for different manufacturing processes.
6% shift differential What You Will Do Develop, create, and maintain CNC programs for milling equipment. Utilize Mastercam software to generate toolpaths and machining programs from engineering drawings and CAD models. Interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, specifications, and manufacturing documentation. Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, workholding methods, and machining strategies. Support machine setup, program prove-out, troubleshooting, and production activities. Modify and optimize existing CNC programs to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times. Verify program accuracy through simulation, first article inspections, and production validation. Maintain CNC program documentation, tooling records, and revision control. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience utilizing Mastercam. 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience creating and editing CNC programs for CNC milling machines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience applying GD&T principles. Experience using precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Preferred Qualifications Experience programming 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machining centers. Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other high-precision manufacturing environments. Experience programming components from CAD models using Mastercam. Knowledge of AS9100 and/or
ISO 9001
quality management systems. Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and nickel-based alloys. Associate degree or technical certification in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
